"Doug was friendly enough when I met them and when I could get them on the phone. I filed my taxes here in 2021. They were clearly overloaded (they had a software issue that year), and didn't get things filed until the extension date in October. Emails replies were usually "we're working on it." **I would have been much happier if they were honest and said they were too busy and recommended another preparer.** Worse part: I got a new guy in 2022, and when we reviewed the 2021 tax filing, there were many basic errors (that I could catch myself), like missing W-2 entries. So not only were there errors, I had to pay someone else to correct them. I wish I had just gone with TurboTax that year but I had multistate taxes plus a relocation, so I thought a professional would be easier. I was so wrong. I just received another letter for more information on the 1040-X correction we had."
