"She is the top Oncologist who tried to help me through my Chemo treatments for Ovarian Cancer! She made every effort to make me know I could be a survivor. I had huge issues with Chemo itself (Paclitaxyl), but her team was quick to act, and we talked each other through the expected symptoms. I switched to St. John's because of unfair billing practices forced on me by Minnesota Oncology. They proceeded to attack her business because of my choice. She was open and honest with me about each of my procedures, but Minnesota Oncology forced me to go to Regions Hospital while they tried to "deal with her". Because Regions could not assure me that in my case Chemo would help, I chose to quit, because Chemo seemed to be destroying my life. I am past the 5 year survival mark now, and I'm not sure I'd want to do it again, but I would choose her as my Oncologist in a heartbeat. My case was probably a bit rare as the tumor fell and blocked my colon and bladder before the disease had a chance to entangle into my organs . So I would never not recommend Chemo, but I could not continue. This is the first year I feel like I can try to live again as I had no support, but alot of people who made my life not worth living...the hell I was living. Be happy when you find a Dr. and a team you actually trust."
