"I am an immigrant and speak English with an accent, but fluently. Everyone at this center - check-in person, attending staff, MRI technician Josh - was very courteous and caring with me. They offered me extra blankets, asked what I needed, talked with me throughout the procedure. The MRI results were posted first thing in the morning, which was a great relief. I feel very grateful for how welcoming and kind everyone was to me."
"As mentioned below in another review- this location is racist. My father was referred here for additional tests/scans for his tumors needed for his surgery. He was denied his appointment because English is not his primary language & he did not have an interpreter with him. My father is an educated man that speaks 5 languages, with an accent. He is fluent in English. My mother who accompanied him to the appointment was also denied with helping him. She is also fluent in English with an accent. He has a brain tumor & with the anti seizure meds is not in a state to answer on his own. My mother is the one that knows all of his symptoms, current tests, doctors & makes all of his appointments. At no time were they instructed that if English was not their first language that they are required to have an interpreter. They have not needed interpreters at any of the dozens appointments & hospital stays. They understand & speak English just fine, albeit with accents. My mother asked for where that policy is listed & was also denied. It is disgusting & deplorable that immigrants would be treated this way because of their accents. M Health Fairview you need to do better for the state of Minnesota & the many immigrants here that you serve."
"They charged me for two extra test that I did not have done, cost $700. Customer service was fine at first but then nothing was resolved months later. I called back many times trying to get it resolved. They then messed up the billing to my insurance. Took my about 7 months for finally get it resolved."
"Avoid this place. My wife needed to have an ultrasound at 38 weeks to ensure everything was still okay with our baby. We drove an hour and ended up not getting an ultrasound. When we arrived, we were stopped at the entrance and informed that my wife was not allowed to have a visitor with her, even though I was her support person and the father of our child. We were told they are not allowing fathers into the room for the ultrasound. My wife was never informed of this at scheduling and she was extremely upset because prior to this appointment, I had been unable to attend most of the appointments due to my work schedule as an RN. The employees here were refusing to even let me enter the lobby. My wife decided on her own to leave and bring our business elsewhere. When she notified the receptionist of this, we could hear them speaking poorly of us and said “no place is allowing fathers to attend ultrasounds”. Funny because shortly after we left we were able to schedule an appointment with a different facility who allowed for me to attend. At important events such as these, I think it is asinine to have a policy that bans the father/husband from being present for an ultrasound. I highly doubt COVID is being spread by husbands who attend an ultrasound with their wives. You do realize that during our hour long drive we were sharing the same air in the vehicle so if I was sick, she would have been exposed as well. Your facility needs to look at this policy because it is absolutely ridiculous and my wife spent the hour long drive home in tears. This place is anti-family and I strongly encourage you to stay away."
"Very unprofessional billing department. My first and only bill was my final notice that my account was being sent to collections (this was less than 2 months after my son’s appointment to get a chest x-ray). When I contacted billing to resolve the situation I was connected with an extremely rude individual whom refused to provide any accommodation (like delaying payment by a week or two) and said to go on a payment plan for $25.00 a month. I told her to do it only to find out that it never worked (both the automated payment system via phone nor the automated system online would accept a $25.00 a month payment apparently they require a $50.00 a month minimum. This is an issue being that those are the only two ways to pay (they wouldn’t process the payment when I called back). I would not ever recommend their services to anyone. Find another provider who actually cares about customer service and treating their customers with respect."
