"David the owner is a soldier of fortune. We purchased a liftgate and installation from him. Placing the old liftgate on consignment. We repeatedly tried to get a hold of him, asking if the old liftgate had sold. Months went by... He wouldn't respond until we went to his place of business in person. That's when he said the liftgate sold for $250. No call or conversation regarding the sale price. The old lift was valued at 1K minimum. We then decided to cut our losses and have him wire an additional lift controller to wash the $250.00 credit. In addition we requested him to wire an on off power switch to the cab like the old lift had, and how the new one should have been wired originally, so it's not powered on at all times. He then asked for another $225 to do it after the truck had been at his shop for 5 hours. No thank you David! If you want to be strung along, get mental anguish, and nickeled and dimed, Legacy Truck Equipment is the spot!"
