"As always, Romano HVAC delivers. Prompt, respectful and knowledgeable. November 2023 update: While Juliano was at our home performing his bi annual inspection and service he noticed a very small crack in two wires inside of the thermostat. This could likely cause a short at sometime in the near future. Good catch Juliano and thank you!"
"I have to say, I don't generally write reviews but in this case on a day like today with temps over 105, Juliano from Romano HVAC was not only professional, but extremely responsive to our situation. The other company's response to our AC not functioning was, well we are scheduling two weeks out.... Thank you Juliano and Romano HVAC for being so responsive and great work."
"If it weren’t for Juliano, I would give zero stars if possible. Juliano was amazing, prompt, professional and very quick. I was given this contractor through my home warranty company. I have never actually received a call to set up an appointment from Romano. I had to call every single time to confirm they received a dispatch call from my home warranty company. The scheduler is absolutely unprofessional and rude over the phone. They refused to return for a known fixable service repair claiming “they had already sent a diagnosis report” on a 110 degree day, after my ac went out for the 4th time. I also had to request a copy of the estimate report that they supposedly sent to the home warranty company, after being told out of nowhere to pay out of pocket fees before any parts could be ordered. I was never even contacted by my home warranty company or Romano to discuss the fees or how to proceed, which led to the further delay the order of my replacement unit. The lack of communication between Romano and the home warranty company regarding estimates, dispatch confirmation and the lack of humanity during a heat wave leads me to say I would recommend avoiding this contractor at all costs. Edited to include a response to Romano’s reply below: There was not an appointment set up to address the issue of unit replacement, only to place a temporary fix (upon my own request). The equipment has still yet to be ordered, and I just today received a hastily thrown together estimate for my approval. So your statement that the equipment had had already been ordered is factually incorrect. As stated above, I have initiated all communications. Your company has never discussed any options beyond the initial diagnosis replacement, and the only solution offered was to call my home warranty company and request another contractor if I desired another temporary fix to ensure safe living conditions. So despite your claim that your care about customer comfort, your refusal to come out and fix the fuse during a 110 degree day proves otherwise. All previous attempts to reach out to you directly regarding this issue has yielded no progress, until a three way conference call was initiated today. Still with no resolution."
"A fuse blew on our AC unit and caused the HVAC system to short out Sunday night. I called Romano Hvac because of the 5 Star ratings across the board. I called Juliano at 6:30 am Monday morning and he answered the phone immediately. I explained our situation and asked if he could come out this morning. He was at my house at 10:30 am. He took a look for maybe 10 minutes and found the short and within the hour he was done. Juliano was friendly , approachable and Professional. Juliano wore coverings on his work boots that he put on in the house and took off when he went outside. If ever we need HVAC repair again, Romano Hvac is who we will call again. Bravo !!!"
"Juliano came out less than 2 hours of contacting me! I am so grateful and thrilled during this heat wave. My A/C quit last night and he came out this afternoon after my home warranty company assigned it to him. He knew right away what was wrong and replaced the capacitor within minutes, got my A/C working again!!!! I'm so happy with his service and professionalism! I highly recommend Romano HVAC!"
