"Lap swim is great. Same pool as rec swim so the water wasn't as clean in the summer. I swim at a lot of different public pools and this one had less clean water more often. Overall though good pool and locker rooms were clean. Staff friendly and helpful."
"The staff up front were very nice, and the water is nice and clean, but they have unrealistic requirements for the kd's swim test. They make them swim freestyle and require virtually perfect form. Seems odd, I saw a dozen kids swim 25 feet no problem, but they didn't pass because they looked forward once or twice instead of to the side. They were water safe, just not "pretty style". Also, the guards were yelling constantly to walk. If they had bull horns or one more staff member moved from the entrance and positioned under the slide, guests wouldn't have to hear the yelling non stop. The staff is here, just need to be repositioned. slidesnot have to constantly yell across the space. Really overwhelming. And,big your child has to take a swim test, it's all about perfect form freestyle, not whether the can swim 26 feet. So they need to have perfect form"
"The pool is really nice, especially for a city pool. You can't beat $4 for adults, $2 for kids. Rules are enforced a little inconsistently. I need my glasses to safely walk pretty much anywhere and they let me hold them going down the waterslide the first 8 times. Later, a new guard is there and I can't have them with me. My daughter can't use her swim fins in the pool. You can't use the sinking toys that you grab off the pool bottom. Why?!? Overall good experience, but some rules are senseless."
"Decent city pool with nice zero depth gradual entrance for kids. Salt water, could have been a couple degrees warmer. Now that pandemic is over, finally we can do normal things. Sad to see the pool needs a ton of repairs. Floor of pool crumbling. *Note: the kids play area with slides and fountains you see in photos is CLOSED AND BROKEN! So don’t get your hopes up before going. Water slides are fun and fast. Hope they expand their hours to more reasonable times. Closing at 330 pm is ridiculous. Overall, worth the $4 for adults and $2 for children."
"Great public swimming facility with nice, friendly staff. $4 for a drop-in or you can buy a pack of 10 passes for $30. Hours are a bit strange so check their website before going. Usually not crowded, have only had to share a lane once. Outdoor showers to rinse off as well as a small bathroom/showering room (I think there are 3 showers in the men's room). Maybe 8 lanes for lap swimming although sometimes a few are taken for classes."
