Dr. Lee Blanton

"I broke my ankle and Dr. Lee Blanton gave me a long boot for it just a couple days after and said it was ok to walk on it. He told us numerous stories of how he broke his ankle and proceeded to walk on it and assumes that I’m not in pain because he was able to handle it. Clearly giving me a long boot was too heavy for my broken ankle to handle and hold up with my limited strength. He said they don’t put casts on “adults” and only put it on pediatric patients. My ankle needed support and genuinely NEEDED a cast but giving me a long boot made walking so much more worse and gave me more pain. I do not recommend this doctor, because his recommendations worsened my recovery of my broken ankle!"

"0 stars if I could . I'm writing this three weeks after ACL and Meniscus surgery, and let me start with thank you for that work. But I am still your patient and I have not received any physical therapy. I even called my insurance today (12-22-2023) to ask about any referrals but they had no clue I even needed physical therapy. Now my insurance is struggling to get an authorization from Dr. Blanton and his office. Not only that but they never even requested a brace from my insurance, this I confirmed in the phone call I had today. Finally I call this Doctor's office today while they were still open to ask for exercises that I can do for my ACL recovery but they said to wait for a call back, the office is closed and now I'm stuck with no answers. Happy Holidays Doctor Blanton, hope you enjoy your vacation but please remember it is crucial for me to gain back as much mobility as possible not because I am in sports but because I have two jobs to get back to as a landscaper and janitor. These are the jobs flexible enough for me to work while attending part time college classes. Please this recovery is more than important to me, it's my future."

"My mother just has her rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Blanton and he was excellent! He was very informative throughout her appointments prior to the surgery, did the surgery beautifully, and has been very helpful in her recovery. We highly recommend Dr. Blanton!"

"DO NOT USE DR BLANTON! My experience has been horrible. I suffered a major knee injury on may and 9 weeks later still dont have an appointment with a Doctor who can actually do the surgery. last straw is him sending me a referral for a foot specialist when I need a knee specialist. COSTING ME MORE VALUABLE TIME WITHOUT GETTING HEALED."

"Rude, and so aggressive when you ask him questions, and he doesn't explain the surgery process or the injury well. I did shoulder surgery with him, and I told him something was wrong and He kept insisting everything is ok. I'm still in pain after 1 year. He refused to send me for another MRI."
