"We hired this company after my dads passing. It was a time of grief and confusion. All I knew was that my father passed away in his condo, and that most “regular cleaning companies” won’t clean up “biohazard”, which is what, apparently, it’s called when someone dies. These types of businesses seem to take advantage of the fact that they know you don’t have very many options. They charged us $4,700 or $4,800 to literally remove the mattress that my dad passed on. At first, I think they quoted $9,000. Laughable, honestly. I was dumbfounded by the price, but figured, (since it was my first time) that cleaning is important after someone passes to make sure you get out the smell etc. They did not clean the house at all, they make guarantees on their website, but they did not clean up at all. Only after the fact, when I called to tell them I was disappointed with the service did they tell me that they don’t actually clean. They cleaned the bathroom and cleaned the bedroom and removed the mattress. There was dog poop and pee in the house that they didn’t touch (they said animal poop and pee doesn’t count as a hazard). I know it’s a difficult job having to clean postmortem, but it is also a complete rip off. I would recommend shopping around a lot more and getting crystal clear clarification on exactly what you’re paying for."
