"Finally became frustrated enough to post. Everyone there tries their best to be friendly and helpful. However the phone is NEVER answered and messages often go unreturned. Also I have had several instances where I was told that my prescription had been called in when in fact it never happened and 1 is a medicine that can't be missed due to side effects. A very frustrating experience for years."

"JP at Dr. Sack's office has me happy to travel from Pittsburg to Pleasant Hill to receive my therapy with my psychiatrist that I met first at John Muir Outpatient in North Concord off Port Chicago and happy to still receive good help at his personal practice at this location from numerous months ago, present time and going forward."

"LAZY PRACTICE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Doctor does not show up to appointments and I can never get a hold of the office. Same goes for my partner who is now off medication due to this doctors MALPRACTICE!! Have gone weeks without necessary maintenance medication! Seriously NOT OKAY. And not been able to get a hold of anyone. Will be changing doctors ASAP."

"Multiple incidents. Constant failure to return phone calls and voice mail. Had phone appointment, they called 15 mins late. I missed the call and called right back and left a message and never heard back. It's been a week and I've called multiple times to no reply. I've now been without my meds for a week. I cant express how upset I am this is a contast recurrence. It's truly unacceptable. Dr sack appointments are no longer than 5 minutes ever. So if that's the doctor you want handling your mental stability then by all means.."

"I have been seeing Dr Sack for 6 years now. I started seeing him for my mental health issues because I was seeing Dr before him that Dr Sack took over his practice. I really liked him a lot, he truly seemed to care about my well being and always made sure to call me right away if I was having a bad reaction or if I needed a medication refilled right away. He has always been there for me. I went through a Mental Health program at John Muir that he oversaw so I was able to go to him or any of the other amazingly wonderful clinicians there. Then 2 years later I ended up in Rehab for my drug addiction at John Muir which was tough at first because I was having way beyond extreme withdrawals but he and Dr. Von Stieff took care of me and made sure I was on non addictive medication. Although I still was going through bad withdrawals, it was at least a lil more tolerable. Plus the rehab program was amazing. Dr. Sack has been here for me every step of the way."
