"I had both my main residence and my rental property insured with this company for 17 and 8 years, respectively. I had no claims ever on either property. All of a sudden last year they said that they were not renewing my rental because of its proximity to brush. That really made me angry as they want the profitable, low risk part of my business but wouldn't want to touch the risky part. I was willing to deal with higher rates on the rental, but they even didn't give that option. I took all of my business somewhere else."

"My parents were long time clients of this company and shortly after my dad died my mom received a letter from the company stating that they had cancelled the insurance on one of her rental properties since it was no longer her primary residence. When she called to follow up they told her they had also cancelled all of her policies on all of her rentals, again because they were not the insurers of her primary residence. When she offered to use them to insure her primary residence they told her it was too large and too far away. Again my dad had just died, a fact they were aware of and they were rude and completely unhelpful. Really, what kind of company cancels several policies of a elderly long-term client recently widowed with no notice. Despicable, disgusting, shameful."
