"Omg thought this was a good idea. Not even, been waiting a week and a half for meds for my mom insulin, etc"
"I hired Iris Healthcare for my husband and I wish I had done so sooner. Today was the first doctor visit and Dr. Agustin arrived on time and took time to really listen to my husband and I. Her bedside manner was great and she made sure to get his prescriptions sent in the same day. She definitely made a stressful situation a bit easier to deal with."
"Stay away from Heather Allen. Perhaps others that work for Iris Health are ok. I wouldn't know. I've only had the misfortune of interacting with Heather."
"I was referred to Iris by Mercy after a hospital stay. I did not have a primary care doctor, so I was advised Iris could function as one, as I was needing prescriptions, home health, and help with disability paperwork. I quickly discovered this is an extremely poorly run and disorganized company. Rx refills would take a week to be called in, then sometimes to the wrong pharmacy. Often, I would get conflicting information from people when I called on how to best get help. They'd say, "oh email this person", or "no, used this mailbox", but I could rarely 'speak' with anyone besides the receptionist. She was always friendly and 'trying' to help, I believe, but incapable of actually making things happen herself. Trying to get help with my disability paperwork was next to impossible. Initially it took two weeks for them to submit it to my employer (so I didn't get fired), and when it was submitted, they just filled it out with reasons having nothing to do with my actual problems, requiring it to be resubmitted. When I requested that they also fill out the online CASDI form so I can receive SDI pay, they kept insisting they already filled it out, clearly not grasping the concept that these were two different forms. I even sent a screenshot of the website showing it was still requiring provider documentation. I was always professional in my requests, but after a few email exchanges, they just stopped responding. Lastly what's weird is, from what I can tell, they have no supervising MD in house, only NPs. The doctor who 'signed' my paperwork was an anesthesiologist from southern California, which is kind of shady to me. Thankfully I was able to find a real primary care doctor and don't ever have to do business with Iris again."
