"We've been coming to Joan for a while now for our daughter and now our son who are both profoundly deaf and bilaterally implanted. We've struggled a lot with our oldest who had started off at Providence with some really bad mapping and bad advice. Dr. Kari and the UCSD staff were a lot more understanding and receptive to our situation.
