"Office staff is not professional and at times rude. My sister had a phone appointment on a Tuesday. I called the day prior to confirm her appt. The day of the appt my sister didn’t receive a call as scheduled. I was told that my sister must have misunderstood because phone appointments are only on Mondays. I let her know that I confirmed the appointment a day prior. She then said that Dr Marjan would call in 5 minutes. My sister never received a phone call from Dr Marjan. I would give a higher rating if the doctor honors appointment(s) and does everything in her power to help my sister as doctors should do and if the front office staff improves their costumer service."

"I have had the best care and experience with Dr. Hoda PA. She was very helpful and kind, she took the time to listen and to explain my results. It is hard to find a doctors that listens and truly cares. I appreciated how much time she spent with me during my visit and how involved she was. Excellent front desk manager and assistant, great atmosphere, you feel so comfortable you forget you are at a doctor’s office."

"Update, 12/7/23: after seeing this review, Dr. Chegounchi and her office have been calling my mom and leaving voicemails to ask her to take the review down. She said since she cares very much for my mom she will help her to find placement at a dialysis clinic AS LONG AS the review is removed. Highly unprofessional and unethical practices. My mom has found dialysis placement without Dr. Chegounchi’s help. Original post: Dr. Chegounchi had been overseeing my mom’s kidney disease for two years and it was only when we got a second consult from another nephrologist that we realized how bad my mom’s condition had gotten under Dr Chegounchi’s care. We needed to take my mom to the ER immediately to start the process of getting dialysis to reduce her critically high potassium levels. In the last phone call, Dr Chegounchi had scheduled to see my mom in 3 weeks and said, “if she feels bad, take her to the hospital right away”. When I asked her to send me a copy of my mom’s labs, she sent ones that were 2 months old and stopped replying to my follow up emails. I have no faith in her ability to convey medical information and urgency to her patients."

"Very hard to make an appointment as the doctors works in the office two days a week. A month after I chose her as my doctor, she changed her policy and my company (LACare) was not accepted anymore, her team never told me this, but instead I found it out 3 weeks after it was changed from my wife?! Definitely not recommended."
