"One of my favorite hotels in weho! Desiree the general manager is a doll and pleasure to work with as well as the front desk staff being so kind a patient. This property has peace and tranquility while still being in close proximity to the hustle and bustle!"
"Positive - great location, spacious room, polite staff Negative - housekeeping not being done in a daily basis despite this being a four star hotel; restaurant was closed during Xmas but not stated on Booking meaning we had to struggle to get breakfast, lunch and dinner on a day most places in the city are closed. Management agreed to waive valet fee recognising bad customer experience which was welcome hence the 3 star review otherwise it would have been lower."
"This hotel is adorable! I came here with two friends for a girls trip and it was perfect for it. The location is awesome, we were able to walk to many places and we felt safe the whole time. The decor in the rooms is very cute. We stayed in a room with a king bed and pull out couch, it fit the three of us well. The bathroom design is super cute but the door is a sliding barn door which is not ideal for bathroom privacy. The rooftop pool is VERY SMALL and there isn’t a ton of seating around the pool, especially if it is busy. We only went up to the pool once and there were two small families in the pool and no room for anyone else. Not a huge deal for us because we didn’t really intend to swim. When we went in June 2023 they only had one elevator working and we always had to wait a while for it. We often had to wait for the valet too and it seemed like they didn’t have a very large staff but every employee we interacted with was very nice. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay there again!"
"Very charming hidden gem, walkable to lots of places included Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Blvd. Rooms have balconies which is wonderful but they are too small to really sit on and some of them face an apartment building where you can look right into other peoples apartments and they can look right at you, so privacy is lacking in that respect. Would be great if they put up some sort of privacy screens around the balconies facing the apartments. This is more a 3 star hotel. We were a party of 3 and had a 1 bedroom suite with a pull out couch in the living room, but there was no bedding for the couch and also no coffee pods and only two bath towels. They also don’t carry tea bags and that’s a big standard at most hotels. We had to call guest services quite a bit to get things situated which should have already been prepared before arrival. The menu is limited and breakfast cost 120 (gratuity included) for 3 people. Parking was 60 a night. Food and parking way too steep in my opinion. Candies and such that are in the room are $20 a pop! No thanks! Walk around the corner to the 7/11 and get the same for much less. Elevators were very slow most days. Rooftop is more for adults, pretty and nice views, but lacking. Rooftop bar closes at 7 pm which is generally very early. You can hear the people or kids running/stomping on the rooftop. Despite all that, the room was nicely appointed, neighborhood felts safe, sans the random homeless people, and hotel staff were nice. I would consider again, but hoping they make adjustments to the pricing and the privacy of balconies."
"Great place overall …. But a huge heads up to my fellow light sleepers. The bed mattresses and pillows all have protective wraps which cannot be removed. They aren’t quite plastic wraps from what I can tell; but, they are crunchy and if you move at all at night AND are a light sleeper this might wake you up through the night as it did me. The noise of movement on the mattress and pillows was unnerving. The wraps on the pillows also trap air - so they are quite poofy and elevate one’s head. I ended up going to Target and buying my own pillows for the room since the hotel had no other options. Some people obviously will have no problem with this setup. Again, for light sleepers who want or need a soft, quiet sleeping experience, you might want to book elsewhere (though, overall the neighborhood is mostly quiet at night. Otherwise, the hotel is nice. The housekeeping staff was incredible. Three out of the four valet staff were super friendly (the other one simply had your key on the counter and unlike the others, did not walk you out to your car). This only matters because parking a car there is $60.00 each night. That adds up, as do all of the city, county, and state taxes that you will see on your final bill. Most front desk staff were super accommodating. Though there’s always that one who will just stare at you as you walk toward them; no greeting at all. Yet, this is the experience of hotels in many areas these days and overall, this hotel serves up style, location, and a great view from the rooftop bar/pool."
