"This was the worse psychotherapy encounter I’ve experienced. Although it started fine, after several sessions it became evident she didn’t know how to work with me. One day she admitted she had not been honest when she agreed with me on a matter, and she should’ve been up front earlier. According to her, working with me was like dealing with a defiant child. She had given suggestions and alleged I rolled my eyes as if I’d never take her advise I felt gaslit because on several occasions I informed her that I'd ordered the supplements and bought and read the books she suggested, in addition to doing other things she advised. I liked her before this day and never rolled my eyes at her. I tuned her out after she vomited other things she claimed she should’ve been bold enough to say sessions before. She went on vacation after that session, and I left a message terminating. When she returned she called and asked if I was on my way. I told her I terminated and she denied there was a message on her private recording, and expressed surprise because according to her our last session had been a break through. I stood firm and didn't return."

She has a big heart and works very hard to help the client reconcile conflicts and gain insight into oneself and how to approach the myriad dysfunctions and difficult issues that we and others in our lives carry around with us. I find Rosa to be a balanced, caring, and careful individual. Rosa has also contributed to the quality of therapy practices in the Sacramento region by serving the psychological community in professional association capacities. Through channels outside of her office, she has contributed to improvement of the level of professionalism for therapy services throughout our region. Rosa is a careful communicator and is especially skilled at assisting the client in arriving at honest self-reckonings. We all know that we don’t always want to hear the things we need to hear the most. Therapy is something one should consider seriously before undertaking, as psychological healing and the tremendous growth that can come with it cannot, objectively, be endlessly indulging or ego-stroking; nor can the therapist blindly agree with everything that comes out of the client’s mouth; nor is it intended to be routinely flattering…it may dislodge one wholly from one’s comfort zone from time to time. Harmonizing with others in the world requires ongoing adjustments and behavioral fine tuning. We may experience deep grief for ourselves and others in our lives whom we love dearly. We need to be prepared for honest messages if we want to receive them, as growing pains are intrinsic to real growth. I strongly recommend Rosa to anyone who wishes to grow and be more well-adjusted to being a member of the human race."
