"We were told to come in early for an appointment but ended up waiting over an hour to be seen. OVER AN HOUR wait after being told to come in early. Completely inconsiderate of our time. If they knew they were overbooked, understaffed, or whatever the reason may be, then they should have known not to call patients to come in early. We are still waiting as this review is written."
"I was a responsible patient and customer to Dr. Mona Shah for almost 7 years. When my insurance lapsed, due to a job change and local move, she refused to fill my weight loss prescription medication without seeing me. Although I faithfully followed up with her every 30 days for almost an entire year, for continued follow ups, prior to the incident, she took me off the medication cold-turkey. As well, wouldn't prescribe a medication in replacement of my menopause medication when the supplier stopped production temporarily and suggested I find something over the counter. Since I've been off of the medication, I've gained 15 lbs and having trouble finding an over the counter menopause med that works for me. I trusted her for 7 years, she could have trusted me for the brief time before I could see her again. No patient care, she only wanted my money. I am very hurt and disappointed by her actions."
"I have been seeing Dr. Shah since 2015, and she is not responsive to my health problems at all. I had emergency surgery 8/6/2016 and was given a temporary colostomy bag that was supposed to be reversed in 2 months. I still have a colostomy bag because Dr. Mona Shah says that I can live with it, and it isn't life threatening so she won't put in for the correct authorizations, has no empathy for my serious injuries. I need a total hip replacement and torn rotator cuff needing surgery that I have not seen a surgeon for and it was diagnosed by MRI in March and hip 3 years ago, and still haven't seen a surgeon. She is mean, harsh and makes statements that make me question her education. She is a very poor doctor, and I believe she compensates for her lack of knowledge with treating her patients badly."
"Worst staff ever, very rude and don't care about patients' time. Never answer calls or get back to you. On the other hand, Dr. Shah was nice in the beginning, until I found out that she doesn't want to listen to me! Good doctors listen to their patients, not checking their watch every 2 minutes. I'm not going there anymore and same thing applies to my entire family. We'll take our business to a dr that cares. Don't waste your time or money!"
"PATIENTS BEWARE!!! I scheduled an annual physical at this office. The facilities are nice, but unfortunately this gives an undeserved feeling of comfort. I never met with a doctor, and was only seen by a PA and a nurse. The PA was a young lady who was clearly out of her depth. She was nervous and wasn't confident about anything she said. I should have listened to myself and left at that point, but I don't have a lot of time for doctor's visits and I just wanted to get my check up and be done. I also requested blood tests to check my cholesterol. This was scheduled for the next morning. What I wasn't told was that they ordered a ton of tests I didn't ask for, some of which were not covered by my insurance. So with a platinum plan that covers everything I was stuck with a $580 lab bill for tests that were unnecessary. I went into the office thinking this would easily be resolved. Unfortunately, I was met by a portly man who identified himself as a decision maker who promptly laid the blame at my feet for not calling the insurance company myself on tests they never told me would be requested. When I asked him if he felt any responsibility for his patients costs he said he slept well at night doing business this way. I was met by another patient in the parking lot, who shared a similar experience. THIS IS HOW THEY OPERATE. THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY WAY MORE THAN BEING TRANSPARENT WITH THEIR PATIENTS."
