"PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. This was my first visit seeing Dr.Nyo. I went to him for a routine primary visit to establish myself and to get orders to get a mammogram since I was due for my routine visit. I had a blemish on my breast that I asked him to look at as my primary doctor, not a specialist. He then proceeded to CODE my mammogram in a way that then was not covered by my insurance. I wasn't sure why I was charged almost $750 for my breast exam. Of course the breast center found nothing to be concerned about as the specialists. I decided to call BlueCross to see why my exam was not covered under well woman visit and she explained that it was due to the coding Dr, Nyo decided to use. Of course this also meant he was paid more from the insurance as well. Shame on this doctor for taking advantage of a woman and first time patient! Also on my 2nd visit with this doctor to be noted I was charged a full price visit $203 for a zoom to get a refill for my prescription."
