"My brother passed away shortly after he was in Dr. Bao Dao's care at St. Rose Hospital. This was at the height of the pandemic. At another hospital where my brother was admitted soon after he left St. Rose, he described the treatment he received from Dao and other doctors at St. Rose as akin to "torture." After my brother passed away unexpectedly, I contacted nearly every single doctor who had treated him at the two hospitals. Everyone of them expressed their condolences and answered my questions. Everyone except Dao, who after he appeared to barely tolerate the first couple of questions, refused to discuss further and simply hung up on me. The patients outreach office at St. Rose tells me they have urged him to take my subsequent calls, but he has simply ignored them. When a loved one passes away, you want answers from the doctors who treated him. Dao refused to offer my family that courtesy. Pray that you or your family member never needs to be in his care."
