"Centre Stage is the SPARK that lights the way to an incredible career! When I was in eighth grade I auditioned for a role in the Wizard of Oz at Centre Stage. I joined because my friend was doing this musical and I would be bored over the summer. Before then, I had never done a show or knew anything about acting. After that, I was obsessed with performing. Not only that, but I have made lifelong friends through Centre Stage. Keely provided a safe and professional place that allowed me to express myself through art. After the show I studied voice, acting, and dance throughout highschool with this company. From that initial spark I grew to appreciate musical theatre, theatre, acting, singing, and dancing which led me to pursue this as a career. I am proud to call myself a working actor in this industry. After leaving Centre Stage and graduating from college with a BFA in Musical Theatre, I currently have over 20 television and film roles, a few commercials, and numerous theatre productions. I am proud that my decision to “not be bored” and join a show at Centre Stage became this incredible turning point in my life. Now as part of the Centre Stage Staff in 2020, I have made it my mission to bring this spark to the current students at Centre Stage. A life in the arts is an incredible one!"
