"I'm currently enrolled in Salsa 101 and couldn't recommend it more. Danny is a fantastic teacher and always goes above and beyond. We're 8 weeks into the program and have already made amazing progress while having a lot of fun along the way. The class caters very well to people from all backgrounds and ability levels - our class has people who have joined by themselves, with friends and with partners. All are welcome and there is a strong sense of community. I had originally been hesitant about booking the class and wasn't sure whether I would do more than Salsa 101, but after the first week I bought salsa shoes and knew I wanted to do 102 and beyond."

"One of the BEST decisions I've made is taking both the salsa and bachata programs at MaS. I’ve never been a dancer - never could dance and never tried. But I was convinced by my girlfriend to give it a shot and I’m so happy she did. Danny is a great instructor. He’s patient and his love of dance comes through every single class. I’ve had days where I’m exhausted and think I don’t want to dance but I just get a burst of energy as soon as class starts. The social aspect is really cool, there’s group social dancing nights and get-togethers so you’ll get to know all of your classmates and have a built-in group of dance friends. Luckily, I live in Pico-Robertson so I’m only five minutes away but most of the students come from far away since the word of mouth is amazing. If you even have the slightest interest in learning salsa or bachata (or both!), I highly recommend signing up! You’ll meet a great group of people and have a ton of fun"

"I had been wanting to take a salsa class for a long time and I am so glad I finally did it! I had taken one off salsa lessons previously, but had never taken a formal class and the benefit is so clear! I love the focus on technique and really learning the basics well. Danny and Ariela are excellent teachers. I have already improved so much! Each class is also really fun and the emphasis on practice outside of class has helped me get to know my classmates. The Movers and Shakers program also coordinates events outside of class, like holiday parties, to further encourage the social aspect of salsa. Since I am new to Los Angeles this has been an unexpected but really welcome benefit of taking the class!"
