"This Vetco has exceeded my expectations. They are hands down the best vet I’ve ever been to. Ive seen 3 vets so far, and spoken to another about follow up care, and each one has been kind, caring and very compassionate. All the vet techs are amazing. Toni, Eric, Genevieve, and Jesus have all gone above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered, that I understood everything, and had everything I needed. I was very hesitant to take my 18 year old cat to a chain vet, but this particular Vetco has just been amazing. I’m able to get in and out quickly, schedule last minute appointments and still receive quality care for my little, geriatric kitty. I can’t recommend them enough. I just love these guys! Edited to add after a year: Still five stars all around. Dr. Ivers is a fantastic clinician with incredible patient care skills. She sent my sweet girl into The Great Beyond and over The Rainbow Bridge with such care and gentleness. The whole staff went above and beyond to ensure I had the space to grieve before I left. Toni the vet tech gave me the best hug when I came to pick up her ashes and to this day is hands down the best hug I ever got. Love this office and the whole staff."

"Made an appointment to get my dog a health certificate to fly weeks ago. Was called by Vetco this morning to tell me they have to move my appointment (that i made weeks ago) and when I say I need to come in before tomorrow as I need the cert they let me know that they can't even do that until 12/26 because they don't have a doctor in for that. Ok, so why'd you make this appointment. I started getting frustrated because obviously my flights depend on having this cert and I ask the woman on the phone to help me find another vetco total care that can do this and she said she can't, I am now nearly in tears as I have to have this certificate and She then hung up on me and wouldn't answer when I called back. I called the Fashion Valley location where the person on the phone was so lovely and helpful and he instantly made me a new appointment at the La Mesa location with a doctor that can help me tomorrow. I will never return to the Sports Arena Vetco after this experience as they are unorganized, rude and unwilling to help. I recommend the Fashion Valley location for anything you need as those employees were sweet as can be and more than willing to help me fix and error that the Sports Arena Vetco made."

"I was seen quickly, everyone was friendly. Dr. Ivers was very thorough and she explained a lot to me about what I could expect from the visit. I like that they gave me a quote before they continued with the visit to make sure I knew what to expect when I paid. Everyone took good care of my cat and I was happy with my experience"
