Reviews of Costco Wholesale
"I’ve been a Costco member for about five years and I just had a bad experience at this location. They are trying a new system where they scan your membership as you enter the building. I was interested and wanted to learn more about the system but upon asking questions about it Vince was very short, condescending rude to me. I’m concerned that this process will become all automated in the future and there will no longer be interaction at the door with a real person. I plan to still go back but am concerned about management given how I was treated today"
"They made me sign an NDA, but it won’t stop me from speaking my truth. DO NOT GO TO THIS COSTCO. I am SHOCKED this location hasn’t closed down. It is a DISGRACE to this iconic franchise. I can’t get into details. Beware of the employees here. They have eyes EVERYWHERE. I did nothing wrong and they treated me like DIRT. I wish I could say more but I can’t. Watch your back when you push your cart through the aisles of this Costco. The people that cook rotisserie chickens are NOT your friend. Worst experience EVER. Don’t go here. Trust me. I fear I’ve said too much."
"Thank the universe for costco. This is a great costco. They almost always have exactly what you need. Always great sales going on. Make sure if you see something new that you like to grab a few because they might be gone for a while."
"Costco Tire Center on Morena Blvd. has the worst Customer Service. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with them. I would not have gone into this one, but the sidewalls on all 4 of my tires were failing, and I had to get them replaced same day. One tire had already gone completely flat as the entire side wall had failed (first picture). BF Goodrich has had problems with sidewall failures, and will reimburse customers for the remaining tread toward the purchase of new tires. Costco also has a similar policy, and I had purchased these tires 3 years ago from Costco. I told the employees and managers that all I wanted was the warranty benefits of credit toward the unused tread for the purchase of a new set of tires, since I still had about 10,000 miles left on the tread. The employees and "managers" there claimed these off-road tires will fail if I take my truck offroading (which I haven't) and if Armor All "protectant" is placed on them. Funny I didn't see that on any of the warranty information with Costco or BF Goodrich. The "manager" said the "best" he could do is give me $30 off a new set off tires, but would not honor either warranty. We have been going to Costco for tires for many years, but this is the final straw. When they crushed the lug nuts on my truck and made me buy new ones, (which are a custom order from Toyota), I was hesitant to come back here. But after making us stand in the rain while they sat inside trying to decide how to get out of their warranty, I am done. I took my truck to Discount tire on Garnet. BF Goodrich made good on the warranty, and I saved another $90/tire on the same exact tire Costco was going to sell me. Discount Tire has a new customer."
"I bought lobster tails yesterday, handled them properly (kept refrigerated) and cooked them today less than 24 hours after I bought them… all of them had a very strong ammonia smell during and after cooking… that means they’re spoiled. Costco has to be more careful with the seafood they sell"
