"Mr. Lucas was constantly late to our appointments, first appointment we had I had to call him after waiting outside his locked office. After showing 15 minutes late, he stated it was because he had to pick up his daughter! I can understand emergencies or last minute things with kids…but to not even call me, I called him! He was very unprofessional and not at all apologetic. We had 3 sessions, again he was late on the 2nd session and after arriving late still dilly dallied around, went to the restroom etc, before actually sitting down and meeting with me. On the 3rd session he started our session (late once again) talking to me about someone else's file! He had me mixed up with another patient and didn't even know who I was or what I was there for...he obviously grabbed the wrong file and had the wrong appointment time for me, he ended that session early because his "stomach hurt", at which time I told him I would not be coming back due to his lack of professionalism and lackadaisical attitude. VERY disappointed with John Lucas...I'm not sure why people even go to him or if it was just my personal experience. Either way he did not treat me with the courtesy and respect becoming of a professional counselor."
