"I dropped my senior dog off for teeth cleaning and possible extractions. 2 back teeth were removed. They sent her home, refusing my request for pain meds for her. Prescribed no antibiotics either to prevent any infection from going through the bloodstream and causing sepsis. This is the standard of care for a vet. She was up for the first night whimpering and moaning and tossing & turning. I felt helpless. She also developed a red swollen area on her side that was warm to the touch. I sought advice from another vet to help Molly feel more comfortable and learned she also had a very large burn from what the other vet believed was the heating pad used during surgery. I thought it was a rash initially. I only found out today that Dr. Patrick has sold 50% of his practice to another vet who is has horrible reviews on Yelp. My dog is a blind rescue who has had a lot of trauma. I wanted to protect her. I feel betrayed by Dr. Patrick."
