"Do yourself a favor and DO NOT have her as your psychiatrist. Like someone else said, she abandons her patients - which is extremely dangerous when she's the one who sends the perscription for important anti-depressants and other medication of the nature. She should lose her medical license IMMEDIATELY. I am disgusted to have had such a bad mental health provider."

"PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid this dangerous provider. She should lose her license, in my opinion, for her harmful behavior. She may treat some of her patients well, based on reviews, but it's not worth rolling the dice! I knocked loudly about 30 minutes into my appointment time, at her instruction. She came flying to the door in a fit of rage, shouting at me for knocking. Her patient glared at me as he walked out the door. I was in a full blown trauma response at this point. I was shaking, my heart was racing, and I was in tears. A few minutes into our appointment, she went the other direction and complimented me excessively. It felt strange and contrived. I mistakenly continued to see her for a while after this. Sometimes she was tolerable, and other times she was vicious. I had an urgent medication issue at one point, and both called and emailed her about this. I referred to my severe depression in my messages, yet she didn't respond for days even though her out of office reply stated that she would respond if she felt the message was urgent. The non-urgent response that I finally received was cold and cruel. I stopped seeing her at this point, and my new provider is fantastic! Sadly, a relative who was seeing her recently informed me that she was abruptly dropped with zero referrals becaus Kerstin decided that she was no longer accepting my friend's insurance. It is extremely unethical (client abandonment) to drop someone so vulnerable, who is taking psychotropic medications, without providing referrals. Take the time to search for a different provider. This is just my two cents."
