"Premier South Bay has become one of the most impactful places in my life. As a trans masc person, going into a combat sport gym has always felt difficult as I never know how welcoming the gym culture and people will be. However, Premier is a safe and welcoming space where I can just focus on learning/training Muay Thai. What I like about Premier specifically are the intro classes, having women coaches/femmentors/classmates, and the sense of community. All aspects that were missing at the last gym that I tired out before Premier. From a technical perspective, I've enjoyed the classes where I got to learn directly from the head coach Zac. The combination of his years of experience as a professional fighter and his commitment to being a lifelong martial arts learner/student is what sets him and Premier South Bay apart from other gyms and coaches."

"The best muay thai/MMA gym in San Diego! I had the pleasure of training with Zac and the crew off and on for about a year and a half. I started at HQ and switched over to the South Bay location once it opened. I had to leave the gym due to leaving San Diego but if you are looking for a great place to train, I can't recommend Premier enough. I wish I had been able to train here more frequently. The regular gym got boring so I wanted to do something fun. Walked into the gym nervous on day one with zero experience and Zac walked right up to me and put me at ease. Great family atmosphere and a very welcoming environment. All the coaches I worked with (shoutouts to Selina, Carolina, Tyler, and Sloan) are great teachers and even better people who want to help you with your goals. I lost 70+ pounds and my mental health improved greatly by being a part of the gym. Met great people and, if I am ever back in San Diego, I will for sure sign back up. Thank you Zac and crew!"

It is very clean, the gym culture is very welcoming, the coaches are all so knowledgeable and have either competed, been training martial arts for 10 plus years or it’s both.
