About Us
Wavehuggers is an eco-centered surf institution located at 7201 Carlsbad Boulevard in Carlsbad, California. Our team of CPR and First Aid Certified instructors offer surf lessons, kids camps, surf therapy, and events along the beautiful beaches of Southern California, from Los Angeles to San Diego. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, we have lessons tailored to every skill level, including 1:1 private lessons, group lessons, community lessons, and video surf lessons.
Join our Groundswell Community Project to connect with other surf enthusiasts and dive into self-love, sea-love, and surf sisterhood. Create lasting memories with our unique surf-related activities such as parties, beach clean-ups, and adventures. Our Spring Break and Summer Surf Camps in Huntington Beach and Encinitas provide the perfect opportunity for kids to learn how to surf with expert instructors in iconic coastal locations.
Our ocean-conscious approach sets us apart, as we are dedicated to teaching people how to protect and enjoy the waves we love.
