"Ok Coffee, poor service. The cultural trend in Coffee ships seems to be to take at least 15 minutes to make a coffee. Along with that, one has to pay $7 for a decent coffee, the equivalent of a meal in Mexico. America is generally spiraled downwards when the trend is to give poor service, no manners, and no politeness. Please work on your prices and the humility of your staff."

"we visited on the weekend so the parking lot was completely full and ended up parking down the block which wasn't a big deal but take a look in the parking lot before driving by because you might be lucky and catch a spot. we had a pour over coffee which didn't take too long to be prepared and the staff behind the counter was generally nice and quick as well. i will note that they did have a line out the door and all the tables were full so it seems like the spot to be on a saturday morning. the line although it was long (10+ minutes) moved fairly quickly. if you're in the area, believe the hype and make sure you stop by here for a cup of coffee."

I've been to tons of coffee shops around southern California and none of them compare to Steady State's consistent coffee quality and variety. They also have a great atmosphere and terrific service."

"A top roaster in Southern California, Steady State is one of my regular spots. The experience and coffee is consistently excellent, and their coffee is often what I'm grinding and drinking at home too. The current cafe space offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space expands on the weekends as they take up more of the parking lot. The indoor space is casual with tables and bar seating. The space next door is currently under construction for a Steady State expansion. If you're in the know in Carlsbad, you're at Steady State."

"One of the best coffee in San Diego. Period. I do like having a choice of bean for my latte and it’s certainly an option here. Also a nice vibe here good for light reading or catching up on email Staff here are generally pretty cool so that’s always a plus"
