"I have been receiving physical therapy at Renew PT in Oakland on and off (mostly on) for almost 2 years now. My therapist, Betsy, is knowledgeable, organized, efficient, clear, encouraging, kind and pleasant. She makes PT fun. Couldn't get better. The location is great, parking is easy and the facility is very pleasant, spacious and clean. Every staff member in the Oakland facility has been extremely responsive, kind, cheerful and effective. Really, I can’t say too many good things about Renew PT in Oakland. I’m very very very glad I found them."

He was very attentive to movements that hurt and those that helped and we were able to hone in on what my body needed to feel better and get stronger. "Great experience at Renew with Jessica. From a business/service standpoint they were always punctual and responsive in working with me around schedule. Most important, the PT experience was superb. Jessica and team were friendly and supportive. Even with so many patients, she kept track of goals, progress and changes at a pretty granular level. We found some other ailments that were interfering with the primary PT goals and worked together to address those problems. I liked the homework and recommended exercises to practice outside of appointments. I'd return and have already recommended Renew to family members. I hope I don't have to go to PT again, but if I did it would be at Renew with Jessica."

"Jessica is the real deal. I’m skeptical of a lot of PTs, but she really knows her stuff. We worked together for about two months, testing frequently to observe progress, and reprogramming as I improved. My shoulder is back to 90% strength—which is the best PT experience I’ve ever had—and I’m now equipped with the knowledge to push it that last 10%. I can’t recommend her enough! Also, the front desk folks are friendly, organized, and on top of communicating about insurance, payment, and appointment timing. They run a tight ship in there."

"Renew and Jessica Van Soest were fantastic for my first ever PT experience! It took a little while to get in, but it was worth the wait. I found Renew after six months passed following an injury and I was still having significant pain. There was noticeable improvement right away, and I was able to get back to doing what I love (eventing) with a plan for mitigating and managing any remaining pain. When I sprained my MCL a month or so after beginning PT with Jessica, she didn't even blink, we just incorporated new work into the plan to address that as well, and I was back to riding exactly a month later. I still find all the exercises useful! She was always engaged, extremely patient and thorough answering all of my questions (and enduring my sheepish lack of basic human anatomy), and never even a little judgmental about my chosen sport. In my world it's never if but *when* I need PT again, Renew will 100% be my first call."
