Light and Space is a gym and health institution located at 915 East Ojai Avenue in Ojai, California, United States. Our mission is to provide upliftment of spirit, immersion in cultural practices, creative inspiration, radical exercise, peace in the heart, and the warmth of a thriving community.

We believe in merging ancient traditions with modern wisdom to support the physical body, mind, emotions, and creative expression. Our light-filled studio space features real wood floors, views of Ojai’s majestic mountains, and is surrounded by windows. We offer a state-of-the-art sound system, a full array of studio props, and seating for classes and concerts.

Our founder, Samantha Garrison, is a yoga instructor with a passion for Sivananda, Iyengar, Anusara, traditional Hatha, and Restorative yoga. Studio director and co-owner, Samantha is dedicated to the art of service and deep listening.

Director Serge Bandura, of Shivakali Yoga, has taught the yogic arts of India and Tibet for over 20 years. A former jazz musician, vinyl collector, and graffiti writer, Serge now creates music and plays records under the moniker Earthtones.
