"As a parent, I am overall happy with the school and staff. I am here to share my experience with Ms Danielyan, assistant principal. I am a single mom, and a nurse, working long hours at the hospital due to shortage of nurses due to the pandemic. Due to my work schedule, we were not able to turn in my daughter's books in last week. I called the school and informed them and I was told to bring the books in this morning. When we arrived, there was no line, no other students, but Ms Danielyan refused to let my daughter turn in her books, saying you should have come last week, and she kept going off in a extremely ignorant rude manner. She feels very authoritative and extremely bitter and rude. Over reacted to a situation and created a scene in front of other school staff members because we were not able to turn in my daughter's books. Thankfully, there was other staff members, who were helpful and despite of what Danielyan said, they allowed us to turn in the books. This could have been completely avoided, we could have just nicely turned in the books and left. Ms Danielyan should be warned not to bring her bitterness to work."
"Theresa from the main office is the most passive-aggressive, tactless, impolite person I have ever met. Marshall is an awesome place for I went here for 4 years (graduated recently; 2018) and was fond of going to school. However, people like Theresa should not be in the main office because the main office is the face of Marshall. She's giving Marshall a bad image through her thoughtlessness."
"I just graduated from this school(June 9,2017). I can say that once you learn to friend everyone(including staff), your experiences are so much better. There were a few teachers I disliked, but isn't every school like that? The main office staff were pretty damn rude but, once I began making friends with them, I saw a side no one else did. Anyways, the school is filled with pretty chill students who mind themselves. LGBT community also resegnates at the school. I was a guy who wore makeup and not once was I ever called out for it or made fun of. You just gotta walk with confidence. Teachers are amazing. They're there to make friendships with their students and that's something to value. I love the art around the school that is created by students. Overall, this school is amazing and if I could have turned back time to experience it again, I would."
"In 2015, the people that worked in the office were horrible!!! They do not care about the students and try to do the least work they can do when working with the students. The bright side is that the teachers and the students are awesome. You will meet students with some great and various personalities. Teachers try to make friendships with the students and teach the material well."
"i was abused as a senior citizen with disabilities by students who were running into my on my street and shoving me out of their way-students from marshall high school as i attempted to take a walk close by to where i live. i called the main office and wrote to the vice principal-no one got back to me at all. no apology-no nothing. i walk with a cane and am disabled. i was treated with disrespect by the magnate office when i called and voiced my complaint about the bullying treatment i received by the students as i walked to get some exercise close to where i live. no one cared. no apology. no calls back. no response by email."
