If you are traveling through the area and looking to try surfing no one deserves your business more than Tim. This is not only a review of his business, but himself as a character. Tim was born and raised on the coast and knows the water he teaches in better than anyone else. A competitor in the famed Mavericks contest, Tim has made one of his life goals to be a master of the ocean, and has succeeded. If you take one of his lessons you will find him and his staff to be kind, knowledgeable, fun, patient, and you will leave with not only the exciting experience of riding a wave, but with the sense that you have been able to gain some firsthand knowledge of what it is like to live and breathe surfing and the ocean itself. To the negative comments regarding signage: these signs are placed in an Area where Tim can see the signs every day on his commute to work and when passing by doing things like getting lunch, the mail etc. If one of the signs were blown down or damaged Tim would be one of the first people to see it and take corrective action. He is a blue-collar American trying to earn his money honestly and that should be respected."
