"If you have real medical problems, are covered by an HMO, and need a doctor to actually treat your medical problems Dr. Burke is not a good choice. She is part of the Sutter "management team" and prime concern is profit. Sutter makes their money by not treating (ie not spending money) on HMO patients. Save your heath (and possibly your life) by finding a doctor who is more concerned about your health than Sutters profit and their year end bonus."

"Dr. Burke is pleasant, but the overall efficiency and professionalism of the office is in need of an upgrade. Slow at communicating back with patients, slow at getting tests authorized. Don't see Dr. Kahn, if Dr Burke is unavailable. She is judgmental and really not interested in solving your medical problems. Her rule is one ailment per visit, so if you have a fever and a torn ligament, she will tell you to come back for the ligament, rather than send you out for further testing or to a specialist. The standard 15 minute grace period that is the norm in all other Sutter offices, does not apply here. If you are over 10 minutes late, you will lose your appointment, or will have to wait for all previously scheduled appointments to happen, even if you have arrived before they have. This office is not a good choice."
