I also tried to make an appointment for a yearly checkup got no response or call back. Went to my pharmacy they tried twice to get a hold of doctor's office and was unclear on that attempt to get a prescription filled but I do love the doctor"

"I have been seeing Dr. Strachan for over 25 years. She delivered my two girls via c-section and is always very calm and kind. The office is nice, the staff is polite and always answer questions when they come along."

"I had been going to Dr. Strachan for years for routine visits and never had a problem. She was quiet but seemed kind. I was excited to see her when we were expecting our first baby. We didn’t see her the first appointment. We sat with the nurse going over paperwork and our wishes for the pregnancy. My second appointment we saw the doctor and she didn’t even introduce herself to my husband. She didn’t give us much attention but I didn’t think too much about it. I know she’s awkward so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Appointment 3 and I came alone and she did the normal tests and then gave me paperwork to get a blood test. I asked what the blood test was for and she said, “Read the pamphlet we gave you.” I had already signed all the paperwork saying I didn’t want genetic testing done. It was in my file if she cared to look. She ordered the test anyway and didn’t tell me what it was for. Turns out the test came back positive for Down syndrome ( turns out Down syndrome is like winning the lottery, she’s the best kid ever) but I had to hear that news from the nurse over the phone with lots of I’m sorrys ( the worst thing you can say) I was so surprised because we didn’t want the test done. Our wishes were disregarded and we never ever heard from Dr. Strachan again. I switched practices shortly after at 20 weeks and found the most amazing doctor ever. So personable and caring. It was once I switched doctors that I realized fully how awful Dr. Strachan’s bedside manner is. I do have one thing to thank her for though. I’m now glad I found out about my daughter’s diagnosis prior to birth because once she was here I had already grieved and I could just love her without sadness. So thank you Dr. Strachan for your mistake and bad manners so that I could find a doctor my daughter, husband and I truly deserve."

"MY wife was a patient with Dr Patricia Strachan at her Irvine office. Most of the visits she is not present and you only talk to a nurse (and get to pay for a Dr visit). Half way through her pregnancy we ended up in a emergency room due to some complication. Next three days we tried to reach the doctor and she never contacted us. We only got to meet the nurse and she never explained why it happened. Even after asking for to talk to Dr she never returned our calls. We ended up switching doctor."

"I have been going here since 2014 and have had Dr. Strachan deliver two of my children via c-section. I love this place so much. All the staff is wonderful and helpful. I rarely have to wait a long time to be seen and they are very accommodating and have many appointments available. I love Nancy so much too. She goes the extra mile for her patients. She has helped me and my babies through All the not so great parts of pregnancy and even checks in to make sure everything is okay. I really feel so cared for by everyone. I would recommend this practice over and over again!"
