"Disclaimer: I did not meet with the doctor, however, I did contact the front desk lady (who is very rude by the way) beforehand. I tried to gauge information on whether Dr. Gumbs would sterilize a young patient with a preexisting condition that would make pregnancy life-threating. Got a reply back from the doctor stating she would not perform the sterilization procedure, due to her personal beliefs. I do appreciate them getting back to me in a timely manner. I'm glad to know doctor does not respect patient autonomy before wasting my time coming here."

"I really wanted to love this office and have it be my home OBGYN, however, I was surprisingly ghosted and had the worst experience with communication. From the doctor just not showing for tele-video appointments - I’d call and the front office woman, Martha would speak as if it was normal not to give a call or heads up that the doctor was in surgery or delivery “oh yeah she’s in delivery, she’ll call at some point in the next few hours or so…probably” - this happened numerous times, no professionalism to call ahead to her appointments and say “hey, I apologize the doctor is getting pulled during your appointment time, we may need to reschedule you or keep you on call of your schedule allows”?? Then I was supposed to get a major surgery scheduled so we had to discuss MRI results in JUNE, cut to August and Martha says “sorry the doctor has no idea what surgery you’re speaking of so you’ll have to meet with her again” - I’m completely patient and understanding so we meet again (not at our scheduled time because again she got pulled without warning), so the doctor assures me I was in great hands and that we would get the process going to prep for the surgery (a few more MRI’s and possible blood draw) and get the surgery on the books. At the end of the call, Dr. Gumbs tells me there’s nothing I need to do on my end, Martha will reach out and she’s looking forward to giving me the best care. It’s been MONTHS and silence. I followed up two weeks after and Martha said “forwarded your email to the doctor” two more weeks go by, I followed up, no response - I sent 4 emails throughout September and October, it’s now 11/25 approaching December, we met in August and I never heard back. I debated on calling but if it’s this hard to be treated with professionalism and respect, how could I trust being fully cut open? I’m sad because when I actually saw the doctor she was great."

"Simple efficient and professional I love meeting doctors who are exceptional in explaining the process, gets to the point and gets things done right away. Felt so relieved to meet such a good doctor! Highly recommend though it’s nearly impossible to book an appointment since she’s always booked for the next two month or so. I actually shouldn’t write this since it will take even longer to book an appointment but she deserves a five star review for what she does."

"Once you get to know Dr Gumbs, you’ll grow to like her. She works hard, always busy. However, the front desk clerk Martha is the worst. She ruins your experience because she constantly makes mistakes on bills, appointments dates, she scheduled my 6 week follow up 3 weeks out! 3 months before she got Dr Gumbs to sign state disability after birth. Today, I drove to the office to speak to Dr Gumbs. Her response was, at least you get back pay!!! What?! I have been sitting, waiting for monies, calling and I get a dry response like this? Can’t even request baby bonding cause the office is so disorganized! Martha needs to be fired, she is ruining & running down Dr Gumbs office. As far as how the office is ran, Dr Gumbs needs more compassion & empathy."
