"I recently took my dog to get groomed here and I must say, the grooming itself was great. My dog (55lb lab mix) came out looking great. There was no sign of stress on her and she seemed quite content. However, I am a bit taken aback by the way the business was conducted post-grooming. I was just about to make my way to the store to pay for the service when the groomer decided to bring my dog out to me. This action resulted in my dog getting understandably upset at the sight of me leaving. I do wonder why the groomer would choose to bring the dog to an area where another dog is being worked on, and also allow her to see me leaving. It was an unnecessary disruption to the calm atmosphere that should be maintained in a grooming salon. To add to my surprise, the groomer suggested I should pay more next time due to my dog's "aggressive" behavior. This seems unfair and unreasonable, considering the "aggression" was a direct result of the groomer's actions. In conclusion, while the grooming service itself was good, I was left with a bitter taste due to the business practices post-grooming. I believe that a professional groomer should understand a dog's behavior better and handle situations more appropriately. Charging extra for a situation that was unnecessarily created by the groomer herself is not an approach I appreciate. So, while I would recommend their grooming skills, pet owners should be prepared for potential misunderstandings and miscommunications regarding their pet's behavior and handling."
