From the very first appointment until the last, he was always kind, always listened to all my concerns, and always made sure I was okay and that the pregnancy was going smoothly. "I had the worst experience with my last pregnancy with this doctor. He had the worst bedside manners and would call my children “units” on multiple occasions when talking about the children I already have. He didn’t care about my opinion and reminded me often of my options of abortion even after I said directly “please stop giving me that option, I’m not interested and will never be”. At one appointment I was so nauseous and had to throw up and he was very rude and seemed bothered that I had to leave to the bathroom. When giving birth he was very aggressive and ignored me multiple times when I would tell him to stop (example: when he broke my water he was extremely aggressive. I said to stop it was more painful than contractions. My mom said to stop and he ignored us both and when he was done he walked out. Not a word was said). Such a disrespectful man. I would never recommend him."

"Dr Carbonell was recommended to me for my daughter, 16 years ago. He was her OB doctor through all 4 of her pregnancies. He was attentive in his care for her and my precious grandchildren, and very patient with an overbearing grandma and answered all of my questions. He is AMAZING, and that goes for his office staff also."

"I have been going to Dr. Carbonell for about a decade now. Dr. Carbonell has the best bedside manor of any doctor that I have encountered in Jackson County. I have run into, quite a few male doctors that were down right cruel! Everytime I see him, he takes time to explain everything to myself and my husband and is never rushed. He is kind, gentle and one of the nicest people that I have ever met. I have recommended him to all of my close girlfriends, and they all thank me for connecting them with such a kind doctor. He is human and we cannot fault him for that. Just know that if you are seen at his office you will be greeted by kind hard working women and a hard working loving doctor.
