"I'm not sure why others had not the best experience trying their sandwiches, but we just tried their Original Bird - Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was SO good. The photo I took will not do it justice! I should have opened it up to show everything. To me, all the textures and flavors went so well. The chicken was crispy on the outside, but so tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was well balanced, and the pickle always great. The bun was nice and soft. Dare I say the best chicken sandwich for me is here! The fact that you can pre-order ahead of time, and drive on over and enjoy it outside in the San Diego Sun :)"

"I had the spicy Bird sandwich and my son had the waffle Bird. They were both okay. The spicy sandwich chicken was tender with just a little a bit of kick. I prefer it to be spicer but the flavor was decent. They should add the level of spiciness as an option on the menu and perhaps a better deal on the combos. There is a ton of competition here in SD with spicy chicken sandwiches and I have my go to spots! Bird and bun is okay but better than your typical fast food joint."
