"Dr. Grossman was the only doctor I could find in the area that took my insurance and was accepting new patients. It took quite some time to get appointments with her because her receptionist didn’t answer the phone and did not return my calls after leaving voicemails and she was not professional or friendly in person or over the phone when I finally was able to make contact. There was a different employee of Dr. Grossman’s that I would text periodically that was very nice, empathetic, and attentive and usually was the reason I ended up finally getting my appointments. I found Dr. Grossman to be accusatory, judgmental, and interrupted me a lot. She would also often check her clock during visits and tell me she was running out of time even though she was the one running late getting me in to be seen. When I injured my back, she accused me of only wanting muscle relaxers, which I had not even requested. I’m not that type of person at all and while I do appreciate that she is careful about who she prescribes this type of medication to, I didn’t appreciate the manner in which it was addressed. She gave me an off work order but refused to do FMLA paperwork (which is one page) stating that she didn’t have time for that even though she pays someone to do that paperwork for her. I had to convince her that if that paperwork wasn’t done, I’d end up back at work, doing hard manual labor because I couldn’t afford to be off work without a paycheck (the result of this paperwork not being done). I found myself experiencing anxiety before and after visits. She did bring her dog into one of my visits, which was calming. I wanted to like her because I have been in search of a primary care physician my entire adult life but this was not the type of doctor patient relationship I was seeking."
"I do not normally pass judgement on people, nor do I write negative reviews. Having said that, I must convey my gross disappointment in this physician's bedside manner and medical judgement. Dr. Grossman has no business seeing patients, especially those who are experiencing real life physical and emotional trauma. Her curt and abrasive approach left me less better off than I had been prior to my "medical" visits with her. She changed my medication regimen abruptly, stating to me that she wasn't comfortable with it as it had been prescribed by another physician. She did this without doing any research into my history, and without letting me explain the reasons I was taking what had been prescribed years ago. Without the medication she so carelessly deleted from my care plan I am now in very bad shape. Her reason: she didn't feel comfortable with prescribing it. "It" being a med I was using in tandem with another to prevent suicidal thoughts and actions. These meds have saved me, and I have been taking them for years. I cannot begin to convey my utter and deep-felt disappointment in Ms. Grossman's "care" and I truly believe she should pursue other professions which do not include having the power to change individuals' lives to the extreme, with no after thought. She is arrogant, flippant, insecure, likely burned out, and very rude. I say these things after much thought, and am not aiming to cut her down for no reason. But her disrespectful attitude has allowed me to consider communicating with other people, patients, who are considering going to her for care. Don't do it."
"She's an absolute quack. She has no idea how to treat Diabetic Patients. She refuses to make appointments even with established clients. She wouldn't refill a diabetic prescription! I hate this woman and I HOPE she gets her licence, if she has one, taken away. She deserves jail time for the amount of stress and anxiety she has caused my family due to her medical negligence."
"I have been seeing Dr. Grossman for over a year now. Her staff members are highly trained by her, and have always been overly helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Grossman has treated me with nothing but respect and empathy when I see her for an office visit. She is a great doctor who cares a lot. I really appreciate her holistic approach with offering lifestyle changes and the least invasive treatment first. She has never just thrown a prescription at me and called it a day. She is tough and wants what's best. There are also times when she is varying degrees of busy. As for me she has never treated me like a time slot. Dr. Grossman does her documentation right in the room, as do all doctors these days, but she uses it as a tool to sum up everything and make the visit very comprehensive. I feel very lucky to have her as my doctor, and I appreciate everything she does for me."
