"Imagine a talk show host who covers sensationalized topics becoming a therapist. This describes Bernadette. I received therapy bi-weekly for a few months and I wish I would have trusted my gut as soon as I realized something was off. Caught her not listening and staring off into space during a session several times, looked at the drama of a situation instead of the core issue ("I don't think people should be posting pictures on Facebook looking happy while they are going through a break up"), and it felt like the minute my therapy sessions were over, she would rush me out of the office. Taking her advice caused issues and fights in my relationship which I suspect was done on purpose. She also referred me to a psychiatrist who talked down to me and made rude remarks. It's sad that the same people who are supposed to be trying to help you are actually ruining your life. My recommendation? Stay away! Look for another therapist!"
