"I'm so thankful to have found Dr. Helf. She has always been so kind and considerate during my first pregnancy loss and again with my second pregnancy after loss. I think a lot of women naturally have anxiety about having a baby but it's much different after pregnancy loss. I've been asking lots of questions and raising concerns that I'm sure are minimal. Dr. Helf has answered all of my questions and has reassured me of all my concerns in a kind and understanding manner. She never has made me feel belittled or felt I was irritating her by asking such simple questions. She has great bedside manner and I look forward to her delivering my baby in the coming months."

"The choice to have MD Helf as my OB/GYN came after my original OB/GYN moved out of state. On our first encounter MD Helf kindly introduced herself to my husband with a smile and a handshake, yet disregarded my handshake. She spent most of our initial appointment fat shaming me and insisting that I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy because my baby was 10#8oz. I was tested for diabetes during my pregnancy and was assured I was negative, nor did I develop preeclampsia. With my current pregnancy MD Helf wants to check me twice and maybe a third for gestational diabetes and often fat shames me during our visits. At just 15weeks pregnant MD Helf told me to “lift up my belly” so she can place the fetal Doppler on my belly to listen to my fetus heart beat. MD Helf has done nothing but increased my fear, anxiety and depression with pregnancy. She ignored the fact that with my first pregnancy there were a few tests that were positive initially for birth defects, which later came back negative. She didn’t care to test my current fetus which is scary! Who knows what else she may “forget to test” when it comes to a human life. She doesn’t not care for me, nor my fetus and I am very disappointed in the “care” I have received."

"I have been going to Dr. Helf for 2 years and she delivered my baby by csection recently. She is professional, considerate, and very knowledgeable! Because my csection was unplanned and last minute, she made sure to take a picture of our baby girl and send it to us because my husband and I did not have our phones in the OR. She will definitely be delivering our other children. 5/5!"
