"I have been a patient of Dr Berkoff since 2001. At the time I had consulted 5 other gynecologists about excessive menstrual bleeding,which was so extreme that I was on the verge of needing transfusions. All 5 offered hysterectomy as a solution without determining a cause. Dr Berkoff met with and listened to me intently and agreed that I needed a thorough workup,which he did. He determined that I had several fibroids which he could remove through the cervix- an out patient procedure with a quick recovery and total secession of symptoms. He is the best doctor I have ever encountered - warm, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. He is also a great communicator and listener.Probably because of this his staff is top notch also."
