"Just got home from my tour of The Bodgery. What a WONDERFUL space!!! They have equipment for a lot of projects, from sewing (I'm starting to make blankets for sale) to woodworking, metalworks, photography, bike repair, ceramics, glasswork, I mean . . . there's a LOT there!!! They offer some classes, so you can learn a knew skill and at $50/month, you can't beat it! It's just a great concept and our guide was friendly, welcoming and informed! If you need a space or machines to complete a project, this is the place to do it!"
"Tool heaven! Make anything you like. Wood, metal, fabric, silk screen, 3d print. Lots of friendly members to show you the ropes. Come to an open house and kick the tires! Fun, practical and for some a small business. Soon to be 21,000 square feet. Now that is one humongous space. Stretch your wings. Make that thing you've always wanted! Yes people, The Bodgery is the place to make dreams come true. A camper? Bedroom furniture? Jewelry? Quilt? Cosplay outfit? A metal sculpture? Electronic thing-a-ma-jig?Prosthetic hand (yes)! Just a short ride away is one of the coolest maker spaces in the USA. All funded by our members."
"Edit: The new location has finally opened! It is an e!citing experience to walk through the much, much bigger space and see the increased increased potential for bigger and better projects! Check out their website for updates on open days/times. The Bodgery is a great place to meet people and be part of a community of makers. There is a large number of tools and equipment available to members and some are available to guests as well. Drop by on a Monday or Friday night for a tour and see this great space!"
"An excellent maker space, super friendly, and open to non-members on Mondays and Fridays. I needed help with a couple of projects and had offers of help and advice from multiple people. It has an open, communal feel with no pressure for non-members to join when they visit."
"Great maker space, adequately equipped, seems very laid back. Maybe not as well equipped with quantity of users and tools per square inch of space as a different area space might be for your specific needs, but also seems to feel less-crammed and less-overwhelming than that other local space feels. They might not have every single certain version of a tool ever used by mankind here, but most users will likely feel their needs can be met for the projects one wants to do. Also feels closer to a "co-op vibe" than the other space does, i.e. "a collective, accepting, vibe," with a "yes, why don't YOU do that" atmosphere. :-) Because it's located in an industrial park area, I'd think a bit of tool noise eminating from here fits in perfectly for the neighborhood, even at "odd" hours."
