"Our 5 kids got an excellent academic experience and Catholic education here. Strong values were integrated into a curriculum that can prepare them for any high school experience. 'Love others' wasn't just part of the religion class. It was lived out. Teachers care for each kiddo like their own and it felt like family. Even the cafeteria volunteer who once called to let me know one child kept throwing out their lunch. Or the teacher who said another might be struggling socially. You don't get this in every school setting because they are too busy to notice. Not at St. Dennis. The #virtualschool component during the pandemic was above and beyond what many local public and private schools were doing. Teachers kept in touch with students online, keeping them as up to date on their studies as best they could. We did start out in Madison public schools which did a fine job and had smaller classes at the elementary level. Our eldest was categorized gifted but with no formal program often ended up working on advanced work on their own or acting out because they were bored. The academics at St. Dennis met his needs but also met the needs of regular learners, where my other four fell. Behavioral issues are dealt with immediately. We switched for Catholic reasons once we discovered the school could provide financial aid. But it really is a great community if you are looking for a support network where your child can become a great student and learn to be a solid human being. #CatholicEducation #CatholicSchool"
