"Useless and unethical. I worked with Bill for almost 5 years as he was a Progressive insurance agent. Frankly, there were many things that irked by about Village Insurance: (1) responsiveness, (2) fulfilling promises, and (3) ethical questions. When I moved locations and updated my address, my insurance went up 25% - I contacted Bill to determine if there were any adjustments to the policy which could lower my premium. Village Insurance reassured me various times they would review other options and get back to me within 3 business days. It took about 15 business days and multiple back-and-forth's for Village Insurance for them to finally conclude there was nothing they could do. What I found especially unethical about working with Village Insurance is they required my roommate's social security # and driving history. I provided information to Bill indicating it was solely to be used for the quotation process. Sure enough, a few days later my roommate receives solicitation and ads from Progressive Insurance. Would not recommend Village Insurance given they really don't listen to their customers."
