"I like going to this church"
"Great place for children to attend school. The teachers and staff are incredible"
"My experience here was very welcoming, every time an issue would arise at home, Pilgrim would be my other one. Unlike a good amount of schools, you could actually look forwards to going here every single day. I had graduated here very recently (Grad student of 2018, class of 14) and really do miss the fun things we did. Since this school isn't massive, you get to know each student in some way, so it is a very comfortable place to be. The teachers there are different from one another, which is good in supporting the different needs of the students. One teacher in particular is very Special, Mr.Schultz, my homeroom teacher in 8th grade and math teacher, has a very different approach to everything in general. He always does things happily and he likes to interact with the students alot. the only negative thing I could say is when I first came there in 5th grade, they had actual computer setups in the computer lab, but every since my 7th grade year, they had these bulky, toaster sized, improperly functioning laptops that seem like they came out of the rejects line. That being said, in my 6th grade year, they upgraded to chromebooks and in the future, will be probably upgrading to touchscreen laptops. In a student perspective, when I first had come to Pilgrim, things were just a little intimidating, but over a period of 5 days, I was enjoying it there. There is a HUGE difference between public school kids and lutheran kids in terms of Manners and respect. The Public school kids seem to be more rude people, and just don't have the level of respect and kindness like Lutheran kids do. One of my classmates had learning inabilites, yet, we all treated him the same way we treated anyone else, and in a Public school, thats not how things work, if you were disabled in any way, people would make fun of you all day, and I say that because I know a few people who are friends of disabled students at public schools. my last day of school was a cry fest, which shows everyone cared for... Everyone. This school is great for anybody really, it is just such a happy place. Jordy Schuck Grad student of 2018"
