Reviews
"I visited the mansion during their Christmas at the mansions festival. Most of the rooms were decorated for Christmas. There were many trees and other decorations. The mansion is always good. Place to visit throughout the year as they do themed room decorations on a regular basis."
"I really loved the history of it! Judge Davis had influence and helped president Lincoln! I also learned different information culturally about Christmas decorations and why the Teddy bear was called Teddy bear. It felt warm and nice. Usually mansions feel stuffy and museum like but this was not the case! They took good care of it and I really loved being there! The people that worked there went above and beyond with the tours and information!"
"ChatGPT suggested this as a tour to me. Turns out AI is not all bad. Lovely volunteers , who share the history of this estate with great care . Highly recommend taking time out to step back to another era ."
"Wow. How many times do you get a free mansion tour? Of course, donations are encouraged. Great history of Mr. Davis and a very unique house. Well worth a tour. Don't miss it."
"Pretty cool place if you’re into old Victorian homes and American history. The volunteers there were all very nice and gave a great tour. Would recommend. Just know that the video and tours start at the top of the hour and there isn’t much to see if you don’t go on the tour since you cannot access the interior of the house without a guide. So really no point to go after hours."
