"Lynn Paul Taylor is the greatest physical therapist I have ever been to, and ive been to at least 3 dozen. Beyond that, this is the MOST TRUSTWORTHY and HONEST group of people I have ever met not just in medicine, but my entire life. I absolutely love everyone there, and i recommend this place to ANYONE"
"Very Dissapointed ! Does not care or listen to you when describing the pain. He has his little snake oil tricks and wants you in and out as fast as possible. He has YEARS OF THIS DIALED IN. He touched my hand for about 2 seconds before he "knew exactly " the problem. Doesnt think that a musician in pain suffering from doing the only thing he knows how, wants to express a little more deeply the areas of pain... NO. he has his assistants rub IBUPROFREN on you, than he touches you for. 3 minutes lightly. maybe less. I was charged almost $200 for 15 minute treatment on my forearms. Feel hopeless and just sad as this is my career and life. Didint expect him to "heal me" AT ALL, but at least talk and communicate what i can do to heal and play pain free, or less pain. WOW."
"Not COVID safe and therapeutically ineffective. I went to see Lyn Taylor after recommendations from several colleagues who are fellow professional musicians. Lyn has a reputation for giving people relief after just one or two visits. I was sorely disappointed. Firstly, I learned as I was led to a room that Lyn does not wear a mask with most patients. In Los Angeles during the worst period of the pandemic, this is an absolutely unforgivable offense for someone considered a medical professional to commit. I insisted that he wear one, which he did, though it’s absurd that I had to ask and was not warned before making an appointment. He also told me that the medication he was on made him sneeze. I imagined him sneezing virus straight onto those patients who were too intimidated to ask him to wear a mask. Lyn started by asking me what my issues were and before I could finish describing my congenital bone dislocation, he interrupted me declaring that the issue was that I didn’t practice my instrument daily. This was a totally untrue and insulting statement made without ever having met me. He claimed the real issue was very easy to fix and that I would be cured after one appointment. His assistants next buttered me up with topical ibuprofen and used ultrasound on me. Lynn then “worked his magic“ by lightly massaging the areas of pain for a few minutes each. As he did it, he told me stories about all the women that he refused to treat when they expressed skepticism about his methods. He then would ask me if I felt immediately better after his short massages. Worrying that he might similarly kick me out if I said no, I said that I did feel a little better. No doubt being smothered in ibuprofen helped my inflammation. Keep in mind that this entire process was done while I sat in an oversized arm chair. Lynn never saw me walk, stand, or move in any way and did not address potential causes of my pain or discuss treatment beyond the one appointment. It also did not instill confidence in the effectiveness of his work that he hobbled into the room with a cane and told me he was about to get a total hip replacement. I have seen many physical therapists over the years and I have never felt so disrespected and unheard as I did with Lynn. His assistant told me to give the treatment 24 hours to see full results. The next day I felt no difference whatsoever except for a significantly lighter wallet. Perhaps I caught Lyn on a bad day and he is actually the miracle worker that some claim he is. In my experience, he was the closest thing to a snake oil salesman I’ve ever experienced in the medical field."
"Been going to see him since the 90's. I have had falls, bumps, twists, car accidents, major injuries and he's been there. He knows about human body and especially soft tissue injuries which tend to bewitch traditional doctors. Doctors usually only prescribe a pill for pain then they can't see anything on an X-ray. He treats the problem rather than covering up the symptoms."
