Molecular Medicine Research Institute

The Molecular Medicine Research Institute, located in Sunnyvale, California, is an independent, nonprofit medical research institute situated in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our focus is on understanding the molecular basis of chronic diseases such as cancer, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases, with the aim of identifying potential therapeutic intervention points. Our dedicated researchers work tirelessly at the bench to drive scientific discovery and translate these findings into solutions for important disease problems.

One of our recent studies, led by researchers Welihinda AA, Ravikumar P, Kaur M, Mechanic J, Yadav S, Kang GJ, and Amento EP, explored how Positive Allosteric Modulation of A2AR alters immune cell responses and ameliorates Psoriasis-like dermatitis in mice.
