"I caution you when selecting this company. The salesman you speak to signing you up, doesn’t tell you the absurd amount they charge you PER settlement. They do not disclose that once they settle a debt for you, that they take all the payments you make towards the fees and those fees have to be paid before they settle anymore of your accounts! They also tell you to not make your payments once you enter in this agreement then have you “rapidly” sign the contract WHILE you are on the phone with them, so that you don’t have the chance to read through it thoroughly- which also makes you “miss” the fact you are signing something stating that “no one told you to stop making payments.” -which is a lie. They are making 27% of your credit card balance BEFORE it is settled, which does not make using this settlement company worth the huge hassle! For example, a balance of almost 14,000 was reduced to 7,000, which is fantastic, but then you owe them 3500 for doing this for you!! ( not to mention you probably wouldn’t have owed 14000 if there weren’t months of late fees and interest added because you were told not to make the payments) . Even on a small settlement amount, they are almost taking the money they “saved” you for themselves, so you might as well do it on your own. Unless you have disposable income, I would recommend NOT going with this company! People are looking for help to get out of their financial hardship and this company makes it worse! To make it worse, creditors are suing you in court while you are waiting on them to settle your accounts BUT they can’t even settle those in your program because “your payments you make monthly can’t cover it” because you’re still paying off the last settlement they made for you. Which leads to not only paying them a high monthly payment but paying the lawsuits on top of that. When cancelling, they refuse to cancel the account if you haven’t paid them all of their money from the settlements they did for you- which ok that’s fine- they are running a business but when you explain to representatives over and over the financial hardships you are enduring, they do nothing to help you. They continue to quote the “contract you signed “ and aren’t willing to help whatsoever. So now you’re stuck paying THEIR erroneous fees while stressing out on how to make ends meet and they are sitting there rich on your money when you went to them for help. This company is just not worth it."
